Private or Business Events

We occasionally receive requests to have special events at the Arboretum from local organizations, residents and businesses. All these activities must be approved by our Board of Directors and deposits or fees must be paid in advance. We reserve the right to cancel an event if severe weather is predicted. If the event will not be rescheduled, your deposit will be refunded in full.

The Arboretum is never closed to the public during private or business events. Please be courteous to other visitors.

The same general policies (hours, parking availability, etc) apply to private events that apply to the general public. The Arboretum has no public restrooms, access to electricity or municipal trash pickup. Fires - including barbecue grills - are prohibited. See our Policy page for more information.

Proof of liability insurance for use of the site is required.

A $300 deposit is required to ensure cleanup and trash removal. This will be refunded, less any repair and clean-up costs, after facility review after the event.

Our organization is a nonprofit which depends on financial support to maintain the facility. We charge an additional negotiable user fee in advance that depends on the nature of the event, number of participants, and length of the activity.
