Croton Arboretum

Reusable shopping bags will be sold in front of Shoprite on Sunday, December 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bags make great gifts and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to support the Arboretum.

The bags are made of non-woven polypropylene (NWPP), a fabric that is recyclable, non-toxic, non-allergenic, and machine washable. They were created by Feed the Birds, the local source for everything related to wild-birds, and are being sold at Shoprite by Arboretum supporter Ethan Lewis.

If you can't get over to Shoprite the bags can also be purchased at Feed the Birds, 326 South Riverside Avenue, in Croton-on-Hudson. Their holiday hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the 22nd, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 23rd and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
