Some of the damage caused by a "wet microburst" during one of the recent storms that brought torrential rain and hail to the Croton area. -
Garden Tour 2011 (23)
For the 2011 tour, coordinators Gill Mader and Laura Seitz selected a wide variety of landscape settings, including a small village yard with a combination of native, vegetable, herb, and flower plantings; an artist’s larger English garden of berry bushes and flowering shrubs; historic acreage studded with rose bushes, gazebos and a spreading orchard and the organic Croton Community Garden, established two years ago and cooperatively developed with the Croton village government.

Garden Tour 2010 (15)
For the 2010 tour, coordinators Gill Mader and Laura Seitz selected a wide variety of landscape settings at a half a dozen new local sites. These included Croton village vegetable and flower gardens and several nearby town properties offering a variety of organic vegetable plots, diverse flower displays, and a hillside slope of grasses.
